Green Sandalwood
Share
Green sandalwood will appear yellow brown under sunlight, and as the light changes and the ambient temperature and humidity increase, the color will gradually change to green, dark blue, or purple. This color changing characteristic is a typical feature of green sandalwood, mainly determined by the special lignin and pigment molecular structure contained inside it.
Under natural light, green sandalwood usually appears yellow brown or light yellow.
Light response: When in a dimly lit environment (such as indoors), the color will gradually turn green; When exposed to sunlight or rising temperatures, it may exhibit deeper color tones such as deep blue and purple.
(The longer the exposure to air, the deeper the color becomes. If it doesn’t change, it’s fake.)
"The green sandalwood bracelet you receive may be in any one of these colors!
Color changing mechanism: This color changing phenomenon is related to changes in moisture and temperature in the wood, and belongs to physical changes rather than chemical dyeing.
Maintenance suggestions
